In my position as a Senior Advisor, I am responsible for the development of Aalto University's academic career systems (including tenure track). In collaboration with the Academic Careers Management Team, I prepare the needed development measures, processes and guidelines related ɫɫÀ² academic careers, working closely with the Provost and Chief Human Resources Officer. My position requires excellent cooperation, networking and communication skills in order to match the perspectives of different stakeholders in accordance with academic traditions and legal requirements.
I coordinate e.g. Aalto University’s HR Excellence quality award (https://euraxess.ec.europa.eu/hrexcellenceaward) and I participate in CESAER's (https://www.cesaer.org/) HR Task Force’s work. In addition, I participate in several national and international working groups related to open science, HR excellence, and responsible research evaluation. My job demands a deep understanding of higher education environment and the ability to support strategic processes and organizational development.
My expertise is based on a strong academic experience. I have worked for over 10 years as a researcher and project manager at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management at Aalto University by leading tripartite research projects appointed by Finnish government to promote equal pay and by develop ping compensation systems for over 100 Finnish organizations. I also have a licentiate degree in work and organizational psychology.
