Wellbeing and meaningful everyday encounters – sign up for this autumn's compassion mentoring groups
Welcome to address these and many other compassion-related issues in the compassion mentoring groups for doctoral students piloted this autumn at Aalto!

The groups are peer groups for doctoral students, where we meet in a comfortable atmosphere and learn about the opportunities and challenges of compassion and self-compassion together. We are also strengthening our collective capacity for a compassionate attitude and action.
The activities of the groups include joint discussions on topics related to compassion as well as exercises related to compassionate interaction and self-compassion, among other things. At the same time, the group allows you to get to know other students interested in the subject. The groups are guided by Aalto’s doctoral students who have been trained to the task.
Each group meets around six times during the autumn semester. The groups are held in English. The meeting times and place are agreed together with the group and the mentors.
Sign up through . Act fast – the groups will be filled on the first-come, first-served basis! The registration is open until September 27.
The compassion mentoring model was originally developed in Nyyti ry's Compassion for Universities project. At Aalto, the pilot is organized by the Oasis of Radical Wellbeing project as part of the services of the Wellbeing Desk.
