Otakaari 1, the old main building of Otaniemi Campus, is the centre for the bachelor's degree studies of Aalto students, and the U wing of the School of Business has a central role.

The space design has focused on high-quality learning and transformability as much as possible. There are 24/7 spaces, quiet spaces and group work spaces, computer rooms, high quality lecture halls, and meeting spaces for teachers and students.

– One of the core ideas of Aalto University is coming true as Aalto students from various fields of education come together and learn together, tells Dean Ingmar Björkman about the background of the move.

The move of the Business students is at the core of the Opening of the Academic year and Aalto Party 1 September. KY celebrates the move by organizinf a big student parade to Otaniemi from land, sea and air.

The Otaniemi will be the home of the 1400 bachelor’s students. Our master’s students continue their studies in Töölö. Minor and language studies brings also them to Otaniemi. Our bachelor’s programme in English continues in Mikkeli Campus as before.
