Restaurant Factory will open in Otaniemi’s A Grid in August

Startup hub A Grid is welcoming a new visible service provider, when the long-awaited restaurant Factory opens its doors on August 13th 2018.

The restaurant is located in Otakaari 5 in the G-wing of the ground floor, with picturesque views over Ossinlampi. In the future, restaurant Factory will also get a south-facing, sunny terrace towards Ossinlampi, where you can enjoy your lunch or other refreshments.

Restaurant Factory offers delicious and healthy buffet lunch as well as the popular salad bar with its abundant choices to people working at A Grid as well as other lunch-goers. Lunch is served on weekdays at 10.30-14.

It’s great to come to Otaniemi, there are so many new things going on here at the moment. It’s also cool to get to start from zero in a newly renovated building and brand new kitchen. The team is luckily the same as we had in Suomenoja Factory, so we know it will be a great success”, says the restaurant manager of Factory Otaniemi, Marko Hirvonen.

He continues: “At Factory, it has been a custom that despite the support of the chain, we create the menus and food ourselves to look like us, and interaction with the customers is very important to us. Of course we utilize good ideas from other Factories, such as Thursday’s pancake day. It has been a huge success in all of our restaurants, and we will fry pancakes on Thursdays in Otaniemi too. The buffet has been continuously developed so that we also have good vegetarian and vegan dishes to serve. And of course one can customize their lunch as they wish at the salad bar.
