Two webinars on effective communication and psychological safety in the workplace
Two Forthcoming Lectures will explore the importance of effective communication, collaboration, and psychological safety in the university community. Led by psychologist Marianne Vihervuori from Kuntoutussäätiö, the sessions will offer research-based insights and practical tools to support constructive interaction, focused work, and community well-being.
Effective communication plays a key role in building collaboration among staff, students, and stakeholders. This lecture introduces practical tools and perspectives for constructive interaction, drawing on cognitive and social psychology, motivational communication, and negotiation. Through practical examples and storytelling, participants will gain ideas for strengthening collaboration and developing their own ways of working.

The second lecture focuses on psychological safety, concentration, and well-being in academic communities. It explores how supportive working environments can encourage open communication, creativity, collaboration, and a sense of belonging. Participants will gain practical insights into reducing distractions, strengthening psychological safety, and creating more productive ways of working.
