Get to know Aalto Travel Services team

Aalto University’s joint Travel Services team started operating at the beginning of this year and provides travel services for all Aalto travelers beyond school borders.

Travel Services team members

Building a Travel Services team began already last fall. The unification of different policies required a lot of background work from the team as well as fast adaptation to new systems and working tools, also from the customers.

"The team was set up swiftly, but the development work is continuous. We use for example customer feedback to help us deliver as good and efficient service as possible", team leader Tiina Vuosku says.

The Travel Services team provides assistance and support for all Aalto travelers by helping with travel and cost claims, acquiring travel insurances and charge cards as well as instructing on how to use the online travel booking service and M2 Mobile application. Travel Services team is responsible for travel bookings for visitors and students as well as auditing travel and cost claims.

Travel Services team provides personal service in several service locations around the campus, in weekly Travel Garages as well as by email and by phone.
