FITech Network University
Study courses organised by Finnish universities of technology free of charge. Courses are aimed at all Finns and permanent residents of Finland.
FITech Network University’s courses are organised by Finnish universities of technology, and they are free of charge for all Finns and people permanently living in Finland. You need a Finnish personal identity code and e-identification to apply. There are plenty of options available for both adult learners and degree students.
In summer 2025, the selection includes over 100 courses in topics such as mathematics, hydrogen economy, programming, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. Courses are offered in Finnish, Swedish, and English. The selection ranges from beginner courses to advanced ones.
Most FITech courses are offered as online studies, which makes studying convenient even during the summer. Some courses include teaching on campus. Information on the teaching method, schedule, and potential prerequisites can be found on the course’s own FITech page.
All of the summer courses can be found on FITech's website (fitech.io).
Aalto University's FITech course offering for the summer includes a wide range of university studies in Finnish and English. Many of the courses offered by Aalto are continuously ongoing courses or MOOCs, which means that you can study at your own pace.
