Unite! takes Aalto students on an energy excursion across Europe
Thanks to the Unite! Seed Fund, students from Aalto University gained first-hand experience of European energy policy, grid infrastructure and clean technology during a five-day study trip to Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany.

Coming to the Aalto University Shop this September: a limited batch of 20 unique, handmade works by Shimber, crafted entirely from wood. Each piece is finished with Shimber鈥檚 wood鈥慴ased structural colour 鈥 a material that makes the surface shimmer and come alive with the light.

A total of 54 Aalto researchers received Academy Research Fellow or Academy Project funding from the Research Council of Finland. The total funding awarded 色色啦 University amounts to 33.2 million euros.
