Join a summer school on environmental contaminants, held in the French Alps

Explore environmental contaminants through expert-led lectures, hands-on workshops, and international collaboration— with selected students receiving funding for travel and accommodation.

Master’s and Doctoral students of Chemistry, Biology, Environment and Health Engineering, and Science are invited to participate in a summer school entitled "Environmental contaminants, become the experts." 

This intensive 5-day program is for students looking to deepen their knowledge of contaminant behaviour, impact, and remediation. There will be lectures and workshops about the origin of contaminants, how to assess their toxic potential, how they can be detected, and how the risks are evaluated by scientific committees of experts. 

This summer school is for students who are passionate about environmental issues and eager to tackle the challenges of pollution and health.

Programme: A week of academic lectures, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities with international experts. 

When: 22-26 June, 2026

Who: Master’s and PhD Students.

Cost: Tuition is free of charge. This year, 2-3 motivated students from Unite! Will receive funding to cover transport and accommodation.  

Apply by: 15 May, 2026

Academic Recognition (ECTS): You have the opportunity to earn 3 ECTS credits. To validate these credits, students are required to complete a final assessment consisting of [e.g., a group presentation or a written report] at the end of the session. A formal certificate will be provided to facilitate credit transfer at your home university.
