Väreen Showrooms

Aalto University has nine exhibition spaces in the Väre building of the School of Arts, Design and Architecture. The exhibition space hosts both course-related and curated programs throughout the year, such as exhibitions, events and projects, through which the Aalto community and the general public can get to know the innovative work of Aalto's artists, designers and researchers.

Väre, which was commissioned in September 2018, is located between two campus landmarks, the Bachelor's Center in Otakaari 1 and the Harald Herlin Learning Center. The exhibition program emphasizes innovative co-production, information sharing and strengthening dialogue both within the university community and with partners. Väre offers several different exhibition spaces for presenting creative work and organizing interdisciplinary events.
