Manual liftups
Manual liftups to other pages can be created with two components, Manual liftups and Manual liftups: Compact listing. Liftups are used to guide readers to navigate to other pages. Learn how to use the components.

Manual liftups can be created with components Manual liftups and Manual liftups: Compact listing. In the manual liftup components components, the pages to be lifted are selected manually and the order of the pages can be determined freely.
To select pages to the liftup component, add the pages to the component's 'Content liftups list' by clicking on 'Select content'.
Manual liftups component
The Manual liftups component has four different display modes: mini, small, medium and accordion. In addition to the display mode, a theme can be selected from two different themes: Default and Bright. In the mini display mode, the component colour can be selected from all Aalto brand colours.
- Mini: Only the titles of the pages are displayed in the liftup. The mini display mode is recommended when there are many pages to be lifted and the liftup component should only take up little space from the page.
- Small: The liftup shows the page title, a short excerpt from the page summary and the main image of the page as a small square. The small display mode is recommended when the main images of the pages should be visible in the liftup.
- Medium: The liftup shows the page title, a short excerpt from the page summary and the main image of the page as a larger image. The medium display mode is recommended when the page images should be visible in the liftup and the component needs to be prominent on the page.
- Accordion: Links in the liftup are arranged within an accordion. The accordion display mode is recommended when the main images do not need to be visible and the liftups should be presented in a list form.

The example contains liftups to different Drupal service pages. On desktop screens, the liftups will move onto a second row after six liftups. The background colour of the liftups can be changed by choosing a 'Mini liftups theme'.

These components are good and practical tools to show contact details for a department, service unit, or members in a project. The order of the contact details can be random, manually or alphabetically organised.
Manual liftups: display mode Medium, theme Bright, many lifted up pages
In the example, content types article, news, hub, external liftup and service are lifted up. In the Bright theme, the background of the liftup component is grey. In display mode Medium, the sizes of the liftups vary based on the number of liftups on one row.

Manual liftups: Compact listing is a separate component for creating manual liftups. The component has only one display mode. Manual liftups: Compact listing is recommended when liftups should be presented in a very compact list form.
