The course feedback tool sends a notification for the teacher two weeks before the start of the course. It is good to plan the feedback practices of the course even before the course begins. 

In addition, the teacher receives an automatic reminder when there are three weeks left until the end day of the course (i.e. two weeks until the end-of-course survey opens)

The course feedback tool sends automatic reminders to the student about responding to the survey and when the survey report is published. In addition, the teacher can send additional automatic reminders about responding to the end-of-course survey. Reminders do not include more specific information about the survey, such as opening hours. Instead, the student should follow the link in the message to see the status of the survey.

feedback surveys are listed based on course implementation filtering and survey status filtering. Check the status of all filters. For example, the date range for end dates of course implementations should cover the end date of your course. Note: select the start date for the date range by clicking a date in the calendar that appears in the view (the calendar displays two months at a time). Select the end day of the range accordingly. Yes. As a teacher you can extend the response time of the survey by opening the survey earlier or postponing the closing to a later time, but not after the survey is closed. Instructions on scheduling surveys: Editing a survey in course feedback tool > Basic information.

Yes, the common Aalto and school questions will automatically appear on the end-of-course feedback form. The teacher can also add their own questions, for example, from the personal or shared question library. Instructions: Questions

Yes. Webropol can be used as a general survey tool e.g., for collecting research data. Even if course feedback stops using Webropol, Webropol as a survey tool will continue.

The reports that include fewer than five responses will only appear if you have added consent question regarding five respondent limit from Basic information tab and if the respondents have allowed their responses to be visible even if there are fewer than five respondents. Therefore, if you expect to receive fewer than five responses, add the consent question 'Feedback I have given can be processed and a summary can be made of it even if less than 5 students have given feedback. ' on the Basic information tab of the form, unless the question is already on the form.

If the automatic schedule for the end-of-course survey is not suitable for your course (for example, a long-term course that a student can start and complete at their own pace), you can adjust the survey opening days. You can activate the end-of-course survey as soon as the course starts, allowing the student to respond to the survey at any time after completing the course. You can share the end-of-course survey link, for example, in the context of the last assignment.

Note that the automatic notification of answering the end-of-course survey will be sent for registered students on the date the survey opens, i.e. probably at the "wrong time" of the course. You can ask your school's coursefeedback contact person or to deactivate the notifications.

If the student is in a suspended enrollment status in the MyCourses workspace, they cannot respond to the course feedback survey of that course.
