Master’s Programme in Cybersecurity and Assurance (CYBERSURE)
The Master's Programme in Cybersecurity and Assurance (CYBERSURE, Erasmus Mundus) focuses on information security as well as assurance. Information security encompasses the protection of computation, communication, and data from unauthorized access. Assurance covers systematic reasoning and proof techniques as well as security strategies and operations.
During the CYBERSURE studies, you will gain both practical engineering knowledge and theoretical insights into
- secure systems engineering,
- distributed application development,
- cryptography, and
- assurance techniques.
The programme aims to educate highly professional engineers to meet both the immediate hiring requirements and the long-term needs of the European ICT industry.
Two years, two universities, two degrees
During the two-year CYBERSURE studies, students will get a unique experience of studying in two different countries while gaining a broad understanding of the latest and future technologies for cybersecurity and assurance. The programme builds on the success of its predecessors: NordSecMob, which had student intakes 2006–2016; and SECCLO, which had student intakes 2018-2024.
CYBERSURE is jointly offered by seven European universities:
- Aalto University, Finland
- The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Norway
- The Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Sweden
- Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Denmark
- University of Tartu, Estonia
- EURECOM, France
- TU Graz, Austria
This website is mainly aimed at the students of the programme. If you are interested in applying to CYBERSURE, please see or contact contact@cybersure-master.eu
