Master's Programme in Bioproducts Engineering

Recommended timetable

The timetable for periods and study years is given on the curriculum page.

Completing the programme in different languages

The Master's Programme in Bioproducts Engineering is a multilingual programme. This means that you can complete the studies for the programme primarily in Finnish or Swedish or primarily in English. If you want to complete the programme primarily in a certain language, see the instructions below on the choices you need to make while completing the programme. It is not necessary to complete the programme in a single language. Instead, you can select courses in accordance with the curriculum rules. In addition to the studies towards the programme, the degree includes elective studies. You can choose these studies in the language of your choice.

The languages used in studying

The table shows the language of instruction and possible supplementary languages of instruction of the study unit implementation. The language of instruction is the language in which the teaching is provided, while the supplementary language of instruction is a language used alongside the language of instruction. The teaching offered in the supplementary language of instruction depends on the course: for a detailed description of the languages used in a given course, see the course’s MyCourses page.

You can complete study attainments, such as examinations or course assignments, using either the language of instruction or the supplementary language of instruction. In some courses, the language of study attainments may also be a language that is not used in teaching. The languages of study attainments offered are specified in Sisu under each study unit implementation.
