President Andrej Kiska introduced to innovations and research

Aalto University hosted its second presidential visit the same week.

Slovakia's President Andrej Kiska visited Aalto University on Thursday 22 October. The President's delegation included Slovakia's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs and scientific experts. Provost Ilkka Niemel盲 told the visitors about Aalto's activities, and a letter of intent on cooperation between Aalto University and the University of 沤ilina in Slovakia was signed at the event.

The President learned a great deal about Finnish education, research and innovation activities on his state visit and opened Slovakia's first innovation office on foreign soil near the Aalto campus.

President Kiska and his delegation also visited the Startup Sauna and the Design Factory, where the President was shown innovations created at Aalto.

The President meets Slovakian students enrolled at Aalto University. To the president's left Libor Bado and to his right  Nikola Le拧膷insk谩, Matej Murgas, Daniel Compel, Jozef Babuliak and Martin Steiner.
