Congratulations to the winners of the Unite! student video competition

The Unite! video contest aims to show the diversity and interculturality that define the Unite! student community.

Students from all Unite! partner universities were asked to show a typical day in their student life, common aspects (campus, cafeteria, home) and more personal aspects (social life, hobbies), in order to promote and embrace all the cultural differences that shape our alliance. 

27 students participated in Unite's student video contest and shared their daily student life. All students at the nine Unite! universities were invited to vote for their favorite video. From Aalto University there were three videos, and the winner is Jenna Lundström who studies at the School of Electrical Engineering. 

The winning videos will be used for pedagogical and dissemination purposes within the alliance and the winning students will be invited to the , from June 29 to July 1st.

Student Sarah Asfar balances studies and competitive sports in her daily life

Sarah Asfar, who plays badminton at a competitive level, studies Energy and Mechanical Engineering at Aalto University. What particularly interests her about the field is its relevance to the future and the practical nature of the studies. The flexibility of the program has allowed Sarah to pursue elite sports and part-time work alongside her studies.
