Changes to the Approval and Signature Processes in externally funded research projects and commercialization effective from February 1st 2018

The documents of externally funded research projects must be accepted by the authorized persons, in any case at least by head of department and controller.

Policy on approval and signatory authority in externally funded research projects and commercialization (so called ) defines the persons who are authorized to accept and sign documents. If the acceptance of dean or vice president is needed, contact the personnel of Research and Innovation services.

The updated version of acceptance and signature policy is effective from February 1st 2018.
 

The major changes are:

  • Dean accepts the proposals and agreements of EU projects
  • Head of department accepts proposals to certain Finnish foundations
  • Head of department accepts EIT KIC proposals and contracts
