The scholarships will be handed out in a special event in Otaniemi on 20 April 2023 and in Mikkeli on 21 April 2023.

Ilkka Kontula, LL.M., M.Sc. (Econ. & Bus. Admin), who passed away in 2012, studied both at the Helsinki School of Economics (today Aalto University School of Business) and the University of Helsinki. With his bequest, he wanted to support students in their everyday lives. Thus, the Ilkka Kontula Foundation awards annual incentive scholarships to students of the School of Business and the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki.

Scholarships are awarded to students who have an excellent grade point average (GPA) and who have completed at least 80 credit units during their first three terms. Personal scholarships are worth 1000 euros.

Here are the students who are awarded the scholarship in 2023.
