Aalto University strong in ranking for international outlook

Aalto University ranks 40th in this year’s ranking list of the most international universities in the world by Times Higher Education (THE). Among Nordic universities, Aalto came third. The THE listing looks at universities’ international student score, international staff score, international co-authorship score and international reputation. Last year, Aalto was ranked 35th.
The University of Hongkong topped the list while the University of Copenhagen of Denmark came first among Nordic universities.
The listing is based on the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022, published last autumn. This ranking measures universities’ success according to 13 indicators, and Aalto University’s performance was strongest in international outlook.
