Aalto computer scientists in CHI 2025

This year five papers from Aalto Department of Computer Science were accepted to the ACM CHI conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems.

The ACM (Association of Computing Machinery) CHI conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems is the premier international conference in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. CHI 2025 takes place in Yokohama, Japan from 26 April to 1 May, 2025.

Two papers were awarded with Honorable Mention:

  • Xiaowei Chen, Lorin Sch枚ni, Verena Distler and Verena Zimmermann: Beyond Deterrence: A Systematic Review of the Role of Autonomous Motivation in Organizational Security Behavior Studies.
  • Jaakko V盲kev盲, Perttu H盲m盲l盲inen and Janne Lindqvist: "Don't You Dare Go Hollow": How Dark Souls Helps Players Cope with Depression, a Thematic Analysis of Reddit Discussions.
