The WHO estimates that 1/4鈥痮f the global population鈥痺ill have hearing loss by 2050鈥痑nd that even 80% will go undiagnosed. Otoscreen鈥檚鈥痵olution鈥痚nables doctors鈥痶o diagnose multiple鈥痟earing loss patients in just minutes.鈥疶his will reform healthcare and save its resources.

Addressing hearing loss is crucial due to the expected rise in hearing loss cases, which could lead to a significant economic burden by 2050. Early identification of hearing loss is crucial for effective treatment, reducing costs and functional decline associated with the condition. This project explores solutions that result in earlier intervention. Benefits include efficiency, actionability, and reach, leading to improvements in quality of life, productivity and social inclusion.

Aalto University Junior brings lessons on saving and investing to schools with the support of OP Uusimaa

With the support of donations from OP Uusimaa, Aalto University Junior has developed the Juniorp枚rssi learning platform, which is used in Invest in Your Future workshops delivered to lower secondary and upper secondary schools. The activities have now also been expanded to include Money Moments workshops organised in primary schools.
