You can borrow library materials by obtaining a library card from the Aalto University Learning Centre during customer service hours with a valid ID with a picture. You need to have a Finnish postal address to be able to get a library card. Read further instructions on library services.
Alumni can use the licensed library resources, such as scientific articles, databases and e-books, via workstations at the Learning Centre in Otaniemi. Unfortunately, the use of electronic materials from a home computer is only possible for students and staff. Read more on the access to online library resources.
Aaltodoc publication archive consists of full text materials produced by the university, such as theses, reports and research materials. You can access for a year after you graduate. All you have to do is change your email address (other than the aalto.fi address) and set a new password. The change of email address must be made before the aalto.fi address stops working two months after graduation date.

With the form, you can send or update your home and email address, subscribe ɫɫÀ² University Magazine, and activate the alumni.aalto.fi email. By joining the register, you will also receive alumni newsletters to keep in touch with the latest news and upcoming events. You can later unsubscribe if you wish. Our alumni are all those who have a degree from Aalto University or from its predecessor universities, including Aalto University Executive Education Programs that are eligible for alumni status. Our alumni are also those who have completed exchange studies at Aalto University or its predecessors. Joining the alumni community is free of charge for Aalto alumni.

There are many ways to be an alumni volunteer: You can share your experience as a mentor or at career events, act as an alumni ambassador, market Aalto University to new students or organise a class reunion. Would you like to know more about volunteering? Read more on how to become a volunteer.
Do you want to share the experience you have gained in working life over the years and learn and get inspired yourself? You can become a mentor for a master's student in the Aalto University student-alumni mentoring programme, a sparring partner for a startup in Startup Center's mentoring programme, or a group mentor for an international group of students. Alumni ambassadors are Aalto alumni living outside Finland or international alumni who have moved back to Finland. Alumni ambassadors can share and exchange experiences with other alumni and students who might think of moving abroad for work or studies, they can act as a local contact points for alumni, students, potential students and University or lead an international alumni group in their country. Join the international community by becoming an alumni ambassador.

If you are planning a course meeting for the entire annual course, the alumni team can assist you by sending an email invitation on your behalf to the class mates found in the alumni register.

My Studyinfo provides services for identified and logged in users. You can view your studies and completed degrees, which have been stored in the National Registry and Data Transfer Service for Study Rights and Completed Studies, the National Registry of Matriculation Examination, the Higher Education Achievement Register and the Register of Other than regulated education obtained by the Service Center for Continuous Learning and Employment. You can access these services in My Studyinfo only by logging in via Suomi.fi e-Identification with Finnish online banking credentials (e-identification must be enabled), a Finnish electronic ID-card or mobile certificate. Identification methods for foreigners in Suomi.fi e-Identification are not currently supported.

You can navigate at the campus and find free places for silent working or meetings at Aalto Space mobile application. Unfortunately reserving a room in advance is not possible for others than students and staff.
Harald Herlin Learning Centre reading rooms offer a possibility for silent working. The cafés and restaurants at the campus are places to meet. More information about services at the campus.
