Doctoral student guidelines of engagement for successful supervision relationship

At Aalto University School of Business, we emphasize the proactive involvement of doctoral students in their personal and academic development. All doctoral students are expected to actively engage in their own development, maintain effective communication with the supervising professor and the doctoral dissertation advisory committee, and contribute to a positive and stimulating academic environment within the Aalto BIZ doctoral program. This is important for students to attain both academic and personal success throughout their doctoral journey and in their future careers.
