The Finnish Cultural Foundation awarded a grant of 22,000 euros for the implementation of a publication on standardised wooden houses as a Finnish export product.

Archinfo Finland selected Laura Berger, Philip Tidwell and Kristo Vesikansa as curators of Finland’s exhibition at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition at La Biennale di Venezia. For the first time, exhibition proposals for Finland´s pavilion were searched through an open call. A total of 47 proposals were submitted to the stage one, and six teams were selected to take their proposals forward to stage two. The selection panel was unanimous in selecting team Berger–Tidwell–Vesikansa’s concept to be impelmented.
