The Helsinki Graduate School of Economics (Helsinki GSE) has established a situation room to support ministries and other public authorities in economic policy-making during the coronavirus crisis. The Helsinki GSE situation room aims to provide decision-makers with a close to real-time view on developments in the corporate sector, the labor market, and society in general.

The Situation Room will publish its second report on Thursday 23 April 2020 at 8 am, and a webinar on the topic will also start at this same time in the Zoom app (link below). This second report utilises graphs to illustrate how lay-offs and redundancies caused by the corona crisis have hit different employee groups. Employees are monitored by region, income category and level of education.
