Professors Jukka Manner and Jarno Limnéll on the list of influential IT figures 2014

Each year the 100 most significant topical influential figures are put on the list.

Professor Jukka Manner and Professor Jarno Limnéll from the Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering have been placed on the list of 100 influential IT figures for 2014 by  Tietoviikko magazine in the Technology category. It was the fifth time in succession that Jukka Manner was selected for the list. Jarno Limnéll was the most influential IT figure in 2013. Tietoviikko also listed the influential figures in the social media. In comparative numbers  Jarno Limnéll was ranked as the ninth most influential. The Okimo Impact measurement considers nine different variables to evaluate a person's significance or influence in the social media.

Tietoviikko has listed Finland's 100 most influential ICT figures from the year 2002. Each year the 100 most significant topical influential figures are put on the list. The list expresses the views of the selectors about which people should be followed and listened to right now by professionals in the field.

Also making the list was Professor Matti Rossi of the Aalto University School of Business in the Digitalisation category.
