The objectives of the network are to promote European auditing research and to contribute to European policy making. The network also organizes a yearly EARNet Symposium.

‘Naturally I feel that it is a great honour to be nominated to this position, and I will do my best to advance and promote European auditing research’, Professor Niemi says.

‘As EARNet has members around the world, I believe that this nomination will increase the international visibility of our School among those who are interested in auditing and related research.’
