President of Lithuania visited Aalto

President Dalia Grybauskaite with her delegation were introduced to student-driven entrepreneurship activities.

Lithuania’s President Dalia Grybauskaite visited Aalto University on 19 October as part of a two-day state visit to Finland. At first, Aalto University’s President Tuula Teeri gave a presentation on the University’s operations. After that, the delegation visited Design Factory where they met Professor Kalevi Ekman and were briefed on two student projects. At Startup Sauna, Captain Kasper Suomalainen explained the student-driven entrepreneurship activities at Aalto.

Lithuanian students told the President of Lithuania about their studies at Aalto University.

President Grybauskaite also discussed with Vitalija Petrulaitiene, Povilas Valiauga, Arjynas Dapgunas, Marius Noreikis and Vytaytas Gydaitis, Lithuanian students at Aalto University. President Grybauskaite hopes that the students would not enjoy being too long at Aalto, but would return back to Lithuania after graduating.
