Patrick Rinke awarded Academy of Finland funding

The LearnSolar project receives funding for machine-learning based discovery of new solar cell materials.

The Academy of Finland awarded Patrick Rinke on Tuesday with funding for the LearnSolar Research Project. In LearnSolar, Patrick will develop machine learning methods to design new perovskite materials for more stable, environmentally friendly and efficient solar cells. The results of this project will bring us closer to realizing the dream of affordable energy from the sun for everybody.
