Jukka Niskanen (Ph.D) has been appointed five-year fixed term Assistant Professor position at the Department of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering as of 1 January 2023. The field of the professorship is Polymer Engineering
Niskanen received his doctorate from the University of Helsinki, Finland, in 2013. After his defence, he was a researcher at the Universities of Helsinki, Montreal, and Ottawa. He is currently working as a Senior Scientist at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
