Guest speakers discuss the effects of digitalisation on a public lecture series

How does digitalisation affect our everyday life, business, society and security? What ethical questions does digitalisation raise?
Aalto University will organise a series of public lectures that will focus on different aspects of digitalisation with its possibilities and threats. Guest speakers are experts and leaders in their fields, including Chief Digital Officer Katri Harra-Salonen from Finnair, Advisor of Digitalization Aleksi Kopponen from the Ministry of Finance and CIO Mikko Vastela from the bank and insurance company LocalTapiola.

Learning new things continues after graduation
Aalto graduates’ transition to working life and their experience of studies and careers are monitored annually through a career monitoring survey. The responses to the survey provide important information about the work life of graduates, both for current students and for young people considering their future studies. In addition, the information collected is used to develop Aalto University’s teaching and services.
