"Health Capital & Data-Driven Healthcare鈥 is a project by Aalto University, University of Helsinki and The Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS), Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and health care technology enterprises.
i, professor in computational sciences at Aalto University鈥檚 School of Science is leading the project.
- The Health Capital cluster aims to start and renew processes to solve health problems. We also want to bring the Finnish health care technology knowledge to an even higher international level, Kaski says.
The project will get its own space in the Meilahti campus in Helsinki.
At the same time the project "Data-Driven Healthcare" will kick off. It concentrates on individual measuring of health and to collect and analyse big data. Big data can help us solve how individual differences in genes affects care and how it can be better. Kaski hopes that many Finnish ICT startups will join the projects.
