Did you graduate with a master's degree from the School of Arts, Design and Architecture? You can continue your studies as an alumni student!
Aalto ARTS now offers newly graduated Masters of art, architecture and landscape architecture a unique opportunity to deepen their expertise even after graduation. With alumni student rights, you can continue your studies, enhance your skills and flexibly utilise university services — exactly when it suits you.

Why apply for alumni study rights?
- You can study from ARTS's selected course offering — up to 30 credits per year
- You can develop your professional skills or complete unfinished projects
- You have an opportunity to deepen your knowledge before moving into full-time working life
- You will have access to working life mentoring and Aalto's career services
- You will have access to ARTS's facilities and equipment on the same terms as degree students
- A pilot group of alumni students will be offered their own seminar: Becoming a Creative Professional
The alumni study rights will be piloted in the academic year 2025–2026.
You are entitled to the alumni study right if:
- You graduated with a Master's degree from the School of Arts, Design and Architecture on 26 May 2025 or after
