Department of Marketing active in the AOM Annual Meeting

Aalto University was among the most active academic institutions participating in the conference.

Scholars from the Department of Marketing at Aalto University presented six studies in the competitive papers program at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management. In general Aalto University was among the most active academic institutions participating in the conference. The conference program included more than 70 scholars from Aalto University with eight scholars being from the Department of Marketing.

The Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management is a premier academic conference with more than 10 000 participants. In 2016 the conference received 6644 competitive paper submissions out of which 2576 were accepted for presentation after a peer-review evaluation. The Annual Meeting was held in Anaheim, California on 5-9 August, 2016.
