Delays in the delivery of PC computers and displays

We will inform more as soon as the buffer stock is filled up as normal.

As some of you may have noticed our PC supplier Businessforum merges into Dustin Group. This merging has not gone without problems and unfortunately these problems are shown to us as delays in the delivery of IT-devices. Furthermore, some of you may have already seen that the availability of the devices at the supplier’s stock may have shown that there should be plenty of stock, but the truth has been different. Unfortunately, we have to prepare ourselves for longer delivery times in some cases. The supplier released our ‘waiting’ deliveries as partial deliveries so the computers have been rolling out from the warehouse as of last week so that the computer installations can proceed. Missing items will arrive later (neoprene sleeves etc.)

Dustin Group is very sorry about the situation and they are doing the best they can to finish all the changes in the company. These changes also included changes in the working roles of their personnel. We hope that they finish their ambitious goals and the situation cools down with the deliveries and personnel. The good thing resulting from this is that we got excellent shopping portal of Dustin and they are doing the best they can so that the product catalog tailored for Aalto-university can be opened better than it was.

We will inform more as soon as the buffer stock is filled up as normal. More information it-hankinnat@aalto.fi
