Opportunities to upgrade skills without entering a degree programme
In addition to degree education, Aalto University offers studies that can be completed without being enrolled in a higher educational institution. The studies are excellent for upgrading your skills to match the ever-changing demands of working life, complementing your current degree, or learning just for fun.
‘Along with the degree programmes, we are expanding the offering of lifewide-learning options to meet the increasing demands for education. We aim to offer university studies also for those who may not need a formal degree, providing pathways for personal and professional growth’, explains Suomala.
It is possible to complete lifewide-learning studies either online or on campus, and either self-paced or intensively with a group. The low-threshold online courses offer a glimpse inɫɫÀ²'s key areas of expertise, such as technology and sustainability. More extensive, continuing professional education and degrees are suitable for updating a learner's knowledge over the long term.
