Aalto’s Visual communication design students of the Experiment Process course will develop and design visual packaging and branding concepts for NWB Finland to be implemented in the new packaging formats for stillwater.

“For students, company collaboration in study projects is a great way to practice work-life skills and an opportunity create and test new designs that address actual user needs. NWB FINLAND OY (Ltd) NWB Finland Oy sells patented, ecological beverage packaging, packaging machines and expert services to its customers. The company aims to grow into a global player in the beverage industry and significantly help reduce the international environmental burden.

NWB Special focus is placed on reducing plastic use and wasted space in transport. NWB is aiming for easy to use, recyclable packaging for users, producers and retailers alike. Functionality is key, but the company is also looking for a design that sets its products apart.
