AREA is launching a new series of informal lunch talks dedicated to artistic research at Aalto ARTS. Every Wednesday in April, staff and students from all departments are invited to gather in Väre F102 (12:00–13:00) for open conversation over lunch. Bring your own food — coffee, tea, and biscuits are on us.

Each session is led by a different department and explores a distinct theme:

8.4 — I Status Quo (Design)
15.4 — II Future (Film)
22.4 — III Artefact (Architecture)
29.4 — IV Terms (Art and Media)

The initiative responds to the SAAB report's call for Aalto ARTS to take greater ownership of the artistic research conducted within the school. Whether you're deep into your practice or simply curious, these talks are a chance to connect across departments and participate in the conversation around artistic research at Aalto.

All welcome.
