Amer and OP have brand new halls
A sponsored hall is, above all, a way to support students and teaching of business and economics by contributing towards the quality and comfort of teaching premises. At the same time, it is a visible part of creating an image of a company as an interesting employer among the students.
Amer changed the appearance of an entire hall
Amer acquired the hall sponsorship in honour of the 65th anniversary of the Aalto University School of Business. The school played a part in the birth of the company when the school's students in 1950 established Amer. The new Amer hall, Hall A401, is in the main building.
The sponsored hall will carry the name of Amer for the next three years, and Amer can use it for its own purposes twice a year without any charge.
’We want to present Amer comprehensively and extensively; thus we ended up with a visual ensemble covering the entire back wall of the hall. Our intention is to keep changing the images and through that bring Amer Sport's business areas into students' awareness while inspiring them to do sports and exercise’, says Tea Lindfros, who is responsible for communications in the area of corporate responsibility.
OP hall underwent a transformation
The OP hall, Hall E107, in the Arkadia building underwent a real transformation when it was comprehensively redone into a so-called Harvard-type hall. The teaching direction of the elongated hall was turned 90 degrees so that the students are now considerably closer to the lecturer.
The renovation of the space is a part of the transformation that is taking place in the teaching premises of the Aalto University School of Business: as many of the teaching areas as possible will be made more interactive to support modern learning.
’We are very satisfied with the OP Hall's new fresh image and feel happy about students having found the hall well-functioning’, HR Service Manager Liisa Parikka points out.
