A!BP Leads CIB W040 Workshop at NSB 2026
Asst. Prof. Magda Posani, head of A!BP team, led the CIB W040 – Heat and Moisture Transfer in Buildings workshop during NSB 2026 in Tampere. The workshop was co-organized with CIB W040 Coordinators: Dr. Lin Wang and Dr. Nickolaj Feldt Jensen.
The meeting brought together international researchers to discuss recent advances in hygrothermal building physics and define future research priorities. A highlight of the meeting was the launch of an international Round Robin on the characterization of bio-based insulation materials and solid wood. This collaborative initiative marks an important step toward improving the quality and comparability of hygrothermal material data and will support future research on durability and moisture-safe design.
A!BP team sincerely thanks the invited speakers, Prof. Juha Vinha (Tampere University), Dr. Valentina Marincioni (University College London), and Dr. Kristo Kalbe (Tallinn University of Technology), for their excellent presentations.
