The BIMforLean team at Aalto - Prof. Lauri Koskela and Dr. Bhargav Dave attended the 23rd conference for International Group for Lean Construction.

The team presented in total 9 papers which generated very good discussion at the conference. The details of the papers can found at Aalto's BIMforLean website at www.bimforlean.aalto.fi/en/research/research_outputs/

Construction production management was one of the key topics in this year’s conference. The papers dealt with Takt time planning, integration of Last Planner and location based planning, problems of CPM based plans and other related topics.

Another noteworthy area was related to the new organizational methods of IPD/TVD; a number of papers addressed how to avoid typical problems in configuring a project with shared risks and rewards and in aligning incentives.

For more details, please contact Prof. Lauri Koskela or Dr. Bhargav Dave.
