The book approaches the topic broadly guiding companies to utilize the phenomenon in practice. Also the digital technology from sensors to analytics is covered.

The book includes practical examples from a number of Finnish and international cases. A reader will get a comprehensive guide in searching business benefits from industrial internet and creating a company-wide road map.

About the authors

Jari Collin is CIO of (Stora Enso’s maintenance company) and acts as adjunct professor at Aalto University contributing to the -research project. 

Ari Saarelainen has closely followed the topic of Industrial Internet as a journalist of technology magazines. He works at Alma Media's .
