2017 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award to Professor Visa Koivunen

The IEEE is the world’s leading professional association for advancing technology for humanity.

Professor Visa Koivunen has been awarded the 2017 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award. The paper was co-authored by A. Zoubir, Y  Chakhchoukh and M. Muma from TU Darmstadt, Germany. The article appeared in the IEEE Signal Processing Magazine. It is dealing with the theory, methods and applications of statistically robust methods in signal processing. The IEEE (Institute of Electrical and ELectronics Engineering)  is the world’s leading professional association for advancing technology for humanity.

Through its 400,000  plus members in 160 countries, the association is a leading authority on a wide variety of areas ranging from signal processing, aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics.
