Development Manager Anne Ala-Pöntiö of Orion Diagnostica Oy receives the 1000th calibration certificate from Head of Calibration Services, Dr. Farshid Manoocheri

In November 2017, Metrology Research Institute of Aalto University issued the 1000th Certificate of Calibration to Orion Diagnostica Oy. The calibrations were performed on the spectral transmittance of reference optical filters that are used in production quality control of Orion Diagnostica Oy. Development Manager Anne Ala-Pöntiö stated that the collaboration with Aalto University has been important and successful.

Metrology Research Institute of Aalto University is the Finnish national standards laboratory for measurements of optical quantities, as appointed by MIKES Metrology, VTT. The Institute provides calibration services for the Finnish industry and various research organizations. The national standards efficiently support research activities of Aalto University as demonstrated by many publications and awarded Ph. D. degrees
