100 Aalto Festival events for Finland’s centennial

Each year we celebrate the hard work of our students and faculty throughout the month of May – and we want you to participate!

This is an open call for all events taking place in May, whether it’s a seminar, lecture, gala, demo day, exhibition or defence of dissertation. This year we are hoping to have 100 events as Finland celebrates its 100th year of independence.

Let us know about your event and  to be included in the programme. By submitting your event, you will be included on the Aalto Festival webpage, in the mobile app, social media and in other festival marketing.

This year the festival will open in Aalto Open Air event on 19 April from 16-22 in Otaniemi. We will launch the festival programme and offer a free outdoor concert presented by April Jazz along with food trucks, and other surprises.
