About the minor
The People Management minor equips students with a deep understanding of the practices and challenges associated with managing people in contemporary organizations. Through foundational courses, students are introduced to core human resource management practices such as recruitment, selection, development, performance management, and retention. These are explored within both national and international contexts, providing insights into global operations. The focus is on understanding the importance of approaching people management issues strategically, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and cultural diversity. Depending on the selected courses, the student can further deepen her/his understanding of the field by engaging with issues linked to organizational behaviour, organizational communication, people analytics and labour law.
