Finland's first satellite Aalto-1 space journey ends
The first Finnish satellite, Aalto-1, which has been orbiting the Earth for seven years, will fly over Finland for the last time on Monday and returns to Earth's atmosphere. Aalto-1, built by students and researchers, started a new space age in Finland, says Professor Jaan Praks, who led the project.

Topical information on individual study arrangements for teachers
At the beginning of the academic year, we would like to remind Aalto University teachers of the importance of arranging individual study arrangements for courses. It is important to take into account the most common individual study arrangements, such as additional exam time, already at the course planning phase. Aalto has revised the guideline for extra time in exams to be one hour.
