In the Skywake project, imaging technology is being developed for small networked telescopes, which can be used to cost-effectively monitor space objects (including satellites) in low Earth orbit. The research focuses on advanced camera technology, which differs significantly from the operating principles of a traditional digital camera. The project also investigates the requirements for commercializing the technology and creates a realistic plan for its implementation.
