Description
With Research to Business (R2B) funding, public research organisations can prepare the commercialisation of research-driven product or service ideas and conduct applied research that supports commercialisation. As the preparation of commercialisation is the main goal of R2B projects, it can pose certain challenges for research data management compared to other types of research projects.
The webinar examines RDM issues in Research to Business projects. Specific focus is on R2B projects involving sensitive data and data collection in collaboration with companies. A case example is presented in the webinar concerning a recent R2B project with a software intervention and a digital nationwide clinical trial. The session ends with an open Q&A.
Henni Tenhunen is a Doctoral Researcher and Data Agent in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management. Her research interests include the study of patient experience, emotion tracking in healthcare, effectiveness of digital health interventions, and quantitative research methods in management.
