About the workshop
Quantum computing and artificial intelligence are opening new possibilities for addressing increasingly complex optimization and decision-making problems in future energy systems. This workshop explores emerging applications of quantum computing, quantum-inspired optimization and artificial intelligence in sustainable energy systems.
The workshop will address interdisciplinary topics including quantum optimization for power system operation, resilient energy infrastructure, hydrogen energy systems, integrated energy networks and AI-enhanced decision-making under uncertainty.
By bringing together researchers from quantum science, operations research, computational optimization, energy engineering and artificial intelligence, the workshop aims to strengthen interdisciplinary exchange and foster new collaborations across Finnish universities and international institutions.
